In Poland the family name was Szerman. The name became Sherman in the U.S.
Does this correspond to your family's origin
Also does the names of Silver,Lichtenstein,
or Shtender show up in your history?
Thanks G. Sherman

Take a look at my Szerman tree at www.familytreeofus.com

My Sherman's were also Szerman. They are one of the same,
the "z" is pronounced like the "h" in Poland.

I have long lost family in Montivideo, south America we have had little luck finding.
