My Grandfather was Harry Otto Brendel, lived in Elizabeth NJ, Married Evelyn Mackey, had one child Virginia Evelyn Brendel. After WWII they moved to Cocoa Beach, FA. Thought this might help someone. My Great-Grandmother's name was Tereasa.

I've been trying to search for an OTTO BRENDEL of Elizabeth NJ. He married THERESA WANNAG. Could these be your relatives? I'm not sure that they had any children, though.

I am your mother's cousin on your grandmother's (Mackey) side of the family. I have just gotten on this web site to research the Mackey's and don't know much about the Brendel side, although I remember him very well. I will keep an eye out for info and keep in touch. I hope your mother is well. Too bad about Mildred (I assume you've heard she passed away at 100 years 1 month and 20 days).
