I'm requesting any help that anyone can provide. I am working on my MALLET line. I have had no luck working them. However I just learned that my Grandmother Rose MALLET was born April 7, 1899 in Trios Rivers, Quebec, Canada.
It was as though she had just dropped out of a star lit Canadian sky until I was told that she was born in Trios Rivers.

My aunt Margie LABOMBARD (in Hermansville, MI) has provided me with this information:

Daughter of Maxine "Mike" MALETTE 1867 ~ 1942 and
Margaret BARNAQUE 1870 ~ 1944

Rose MALETTE was married to Arthur LABOMBARD on Oct 8, 1914 in Delta County, Flat Rock, MI. (I have the marriage certificate)

Her brothers and sisters were:

I live in Flat Rock and only about 1 mile from the LaBumbard Family I think you are referring to. They spell their last name LaBumbard but we do have a few families in the area that spell it Labombard. The LaBumbard's that live near me are cousins to the Paquin's. The Paquin's own a local Gravel Company. Since Flat Rock is a small community in Escanaba Township I would recommend checking into Escanaba or Gladstone records.

However the query was for information about the Malette family. My grandmother's madien name was Malette. I'm looking for information on her family. HI. I'm looking for anyone who knows Rosella Labombard. She married Charles Swayer. Rosella was born in Rapid River in 1894 and died in Wisconsin in 1976. I can't find any info on Charles. All I know is that he was born in Michigan in 1878 and died in Michigan in 1932. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Charles and Rosella Swayer were my mother's uncle and aunt. My mother is Natalie (Swayer) Olson in Manistique. I have the family history back a few generations but haven't looked at it in years. I will try to get it together for you.

I tried to send you a reply with some information regarding your LaBombard Family, but the email address you posted bounces back.

I was able to locate a reference about Edward LaBombard in an obituary dated June 15, 2002. This might be a son of the person you are looking for. I was also able to find another obituary that referenced Edward LaBombard dated November 23, 2003 for a Raymond G. LaBombard.

I also located two newspaper articles regarding a Fred J. LaBombard that might be of help to you.

I have been trying to find information about my great grandparents.
Mygreat grandfathers' name was Henry Perrin(Canada) who married my Celine or Seline Malette also from Canada. Henry and Celine had 11 Children - Clara Perrin was my grandmother who married Charles O'Connell in Escanaba, MI.
I have the names of the other children but not with me right now. I know a couple of my grandmothers' siblings where Alex, Joseph, Frank, Eva---- From what I understand Henry and Celine lived in Alpena,. Mi (that's where my grandmother was born). But when I went into the census in 1910 I found that Henry and Celine were still in Escanaba.

I am related to Dorina Malette Gamache LaFave. My father-in-law was born in Rose LaBombard's house.
