HELP! I'm looking for a possible article that may have been published in either the Tampa Tribune or a Plant City, FL newspaper. My grandfather, Clarence Pope Nelson was born in Plant City. My mother has always said he was the first boy born there. He was born August of 1883.
Also, I'm looking for another article that may have been published in the Tampa Tribune. My mother's uncle, William Lawrence Freed was born 10/07/1902 died 09/25/1905. He was killed after being run over by a carriage.
I'm new at this and can't find anything. I'd appreciate any information anyone can find.

Checked the Tampa Tribune microfilm for 25-28 Sep 1905, at the Hillsborugh County Library, and found nothing on William Lawrence Freed.

Found one listing in the Hillsborough County TRAILS data base for Clarence P. Nelson. Shows death notice in the Tampa Tribune on 9 and 18 Jul 1947. Based on your date of birth, hope this might be a hit.
