I am searching for the death date and place of burial, of Lillie Mae (Sandefur) Smith, who married James H. Smith. Lillie Mae was born May 20, 1888 and was in a nursing home in Castle Rock, Colorado in December 1981. Her husband, James Smith, was born Oct. 14, 1887 and died Aug 18, 1961. I do not know where he is buried. Lillie surely died within the next few years, but can not find her death anywhere. Could someone please help?

James H Smith has an obit listed in the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News, 23 Aug,1961. I would hope that it might list a burial place.
Then I would check to see if lillie is buried in the same cemetery.

did you get an answer? working with a broken wrist, but contact Douglas Co CO library they might have the obit. they have a very good archival history site. check out their site too, contact Shaun Boyd.
