Looking for ancestors of Juan Salvador de Lugo b.1710 or decendants of Francisco de Lugo who was a Captan of Hernan Cortez 1520 in Mexico.

Salvador de Lugo was my 7th great-grandfather. He married Maria Josefa Espinosa before 1740 - Per Marie E. Northrop., Spanish Mexican Families of Early California - 1769-1850 (Polyanthos, 1976), Page 188. That seems to be all I know about him. If you have anything more I would be most greatful.

It is believed that the Family(lugo) is from Lajas, P.R or at least my family is. My father is of the same name "Castor Pancheco Lugo". My grandfathers name is Salvador Pacheco Lugo and I was told that his Father was not of the same name. But that at the birth of my grandfather his father refused to knowledge him as his son son and his mother gave him hers. So I would be a Caraballos. Any information would be cool. I am 30 , married and live in NJ. Any additional information on the lugo name would be cool too.

I do have a Maria Rosa LOPEZ in my file. She was born circa 1753 in Villa Sinaloa and died before 23 Nov 1828 (she is listed as difunta on her grandson's baptism record). She married Efigenio RUIZ circa 1769 in Alamos, Sonora. He was born circa 1747 in Villa del Fuerte and was buried in Santa Barbara County in 1795. Unfortunately, I do not have information on any of the other names you mentioned.
