Hello. I'm from the cloud line in Lee Co Va, Harlan Ky, and Claibourne Co. Tn. I have 3 different versions of the Cloud tree. My ggrandfather is Elmer Eads, he is the son of Jackson/John R Eads and his wife Jennie. Elmer's info is 1896TN-1972VA married Bessie Campbell 1886-1980. The only info I have on Jennie is from census'. Her birthyear is 1872 +/- a few. My question is this: I have seen some info that Jennie is really Virginia Cloud. Can anyone help me confirm this? A death look up for Elmer would be great or a marriage for Elmer and Bessie that might list parents. An even bigger find would be Jackson/John R and Jennie's marriage. Thank you, Tina Eads

According to the note for Jennie, I must have originally had her as a child of Benjamin Cloud and Margaret Ayers and I decided to remove her as she doesn't show up with them on any census.

I did a lookup on the SSDI:

Elmer Eads, b: 16 Sep 1896, d: May 1972, last residence: 24281 (Rose Hill, Lee, VA), SSN: 226-18-6287 issued VA.

Other Eads who list ZIP 24281 as last residence in SSDI are:

Crevier E. Eads, b: 09 Oct 1934, d: 28 Nov 1998 , last residence: 24281 (Rose Hill, Lee, VA), SSN: 229-38-4453, issued VA.

Bessie Eads, b: 21 Jun 1898, d: Feb 1986, last residence: 24281 (Rose Hill, Lee, VA), SSN: 347-34-0996, issued Illinois

As you can see, the dates of this Bessie Eads are different than the ones you show. Of course, this Bessie Eads may not be your Bessie Campbell.

I'm sorry I was off on the date of her death, I was doing it from memory. But she is Bessie Campbell
