In the 1910 Federal Census for Michigan, my husband's Grand Aunt shows up Pelascha? Miller- we can not for the life of us figure out her first name. The Census lists this family as German/Polish so at first I thought it was an ethic name...
Has anyone ever seen this name: Pelascha or Pelasche?
I have looked high/low and just can't find it.

I looked at that page, and it does look like the name is Pelascha or Pelasche. I think it might be a version of Pelagia. See the information at this link:
