Park County Court House, Fairplay, CO Found in papers of Addison E. Baker. I know Addison had many business's that his father, Nathan A. Baker, got for him and this was found along with a picture of the hand hotel, so I'm guessing this has something to do with Addsion. Can anyone place a date for it?

As I recall, Sanborn did a lot of photos in the '30 & '40's. I have a collection of his postcards and those are the dates.

Sorry, I copied the whole link. I just put in Nathan Baker into google and this was the first link that came up. There is a connection to South Park in the article/book. Perhaps later relatives visited Fairplay and picked up some postcards.

Yes, I have that. Thank you, I did the same thing you did, googled Hand Hotel, Fairplay, Park Co., CO and found a picture of the outside.I can't seem to be able to link to the person who took the picture, so I can't get permission to copy and use it. They have made some nice improvements but you can easily tell it's the same building. My grandfather, Elton Baker had these in the truck that belonged to both his father, Addison, and before him, his grandfather, Nathan so I'm not sure who had the pictures but knowing Addison lost a lot of business's that his father helped him start, he came to mind. Maybe someone just spent a honeymoon there or were interested in the ghost.

Addison died 22 Apr 1938 Englewood, Arapahoe Co., CO.
