Surnames: Birge
I would greatly appreciate any information of the geneology of Birges in Washington (particularly the Eastern Washington area; e.g. Spokane, Harrington). Here are the Birges I am related to:

My Father: Mark Edward Birge (b. 1954)
My Grandfather: Cecil Leo Birge of Harrington, WA (b. 1925; d. 2001)
My Great Grandfather: Ules Birge of Harrington/ Lincoln, WA (d. 1946)

Thank you for your time!
-Justin

Hi Justin, I have a few Birge's out in Washington State and Oregon. Your great grandfather and grandfather are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery in Harrington, Lincoln County, Washington, right?

Birge, Cecil L, d. 2-02-2000, h/o Irene
Birge, Frances E, d. 3-12-1980, (82yr), br/o David K
Birge, George Kellogg, d. 10-07-1950, h/o Minnie
Birge, Minnie, (Bonneywell), d. 1-04-1949, w/o George K
Birge, Norma Jean, d. 9-05-1991, w/o Ules J
Birge, Ules J, d. 10-28-1946

Do you have anything more on Ules? Like his birthdate?
I DO HAVE GEORGE Kellogg BIRGE!! So since they are there together it might seem that they are related. Do you know anything about the above George? If so I can tie you into the BIRGE line. I have David Kellogg BIRGE, brother Frances E. Birge and father to them, George Kellogg BIRGE .. but do not have Ules. Aldo, in your title you have Oregon? Why Oregon is there some link to that state? Any other clues you might have will be helpful. Maybe if you know your great grandfather's middle initial. Whom he married, etc.

Sorry for the delay in my response: I am in the process of finding out if there is a connection between George Kellogg Birge and Ules Birge. I will email you when I get more details.

My expressed interest in Birge's of Oregon is in reference to any relatives that have moved from Washington to Oregon (i.e. people in my extended family who may have information regarding Birge lineage).

I will talk to you soon... take care.

Hi Justin, anything you come across to add to your line. Like dates of some of your older relatives, etc. that might be a clue to your link to the Birge would be good. What dates do you have on Ules? Are there any older relatives still living that might know some family history. Things like that will be useful.

There are two Birge families in eastern Washington and they are not related. I have some information on the George Kellog Birge family but Ules is a different family. My connection is through Minnie Bonneywell who was married to George Kellog Birge. Frances Birge was their daughter.

Gloria, thanks for the information. Good to know there were two different Birge families in that area so will help in the search of the Ulses Birge and who he belongs to. Do you descend from Frances Birge? Or just related to Minnie Boneywell side? If you descend from Frances what family information do you have on her and other siblings. I have very little on the Washington group.

Jerry,

Frances was one of the daughters of George Kellog Birge. I am related through George's wife Minnie Bonneywell. I do have information on all their children --- one is still living.

Hello Billy, what is your Birge line.. grandfather .. great grand father etc.. if you know this information. There seems to be several Birge lines that settled into Washington State.
