Hi! I am looking for informatin on my Grandfather's sister: Elva Preslar born 1919 in Oregon. She is listed in the 1920 & 1930 census in Jackson county. After that I can't find anything. She had three children Sharron (1942), Dwight ( 935) and Lloyd Goulter (1943). I beleive all born in Oregon.
I am not sure of Sharron or Loyd's last name. On my GGrandmother's death cert. it lists Elva as Mrs. Elva Flemming.
I remember visiting my second cousins as a child in Grants Pass, Oregon and she was living there. We called her Antie Babe. Any information would be most helpful. thanks, Deanna

I have an update on my search. Elva Evelen Preslar b: 5/26/1918 Medford, Or and died 4/4/1982 Grants Pass, Or.
She was burried in Woodville Cemetery in Rouge River, Or. (Same place as her parents: Levi and Josephine Preslar)
She was burried with the name Seeley.
I am still seeking any informatin about the Oregon Preslar's, and any of her married families: Flemming's or Seeley's. It has been said that she was married five or six times. Any information would be greatfully appreciated. I am also tyring to find out more info on her
children: Loyd, Sharron (Morgan) and Dwight. Thanks, Deanna

I know a Sherry Morgan of Grants Pass, who's husband Carl passed away just this week. She has a brother Loyd W. Goulter living in Oregon, might be the same one, only have limit amt of info on family. LT

Sherry is my Granpa Garvin's niece. I have very fond memories as a child visiting them and their children. I am so shocked and saddened about Carl. My daughter was playing softball in Grants Pass last year and we were able to stop by and visit them. That is the first time my husband and children met them. We all had a nice visit. Do you know if Carl was ill or what happend? Thank you for the information...

He appeared to have a heart attack & fell to the ground out near the garden area, or that was what we were told. His funeral will be tomorrow at the Eagle Creek Militery cemetery with a militery funeral. Not sure of the time. Yes we also enjoyed meeting Carl & Sherry. We have several lovely intargia wood pieces that Carl made for us, over the years. Take care. linda Toftner

thanks for you info! I was able to contact Sharron and talk to her over the phone. I wasn't able to make it to the services because my van was acting up. I just recieved the obit from Sharron also. Thanks again for the info. Deanna
