Re: Pike & Fitzpatrick of St. Lawrence
Hi David, I am also looking into the Pike & Fitzpatrick of St Lawrence. My grandfather was Leonard Pike. I hope to talk with my Aunt in the new year to find out more about the Fitzpatrick connection. Debbie

I'm hoping I am on the right lead--My great grandfather wasThomas Fitzpatrick who married Catherine Fleming in Bay Roberts but Thomas was born in Harbour Grace and the only other Fitz patrick in Harbour Grace around that time was Thomas who married Elizabeth Cahil. Please respond.

Re: Pike & Fitzpatrick of St. Lawrence
I saw your note on Thomas Fitzpatrick from Bay Roberts. I am trying to trace the family tree for my husband but not getting very far I'm afraid. His father was Patrick Fitzpatrick from Bay Roberts (brothers named Bernard & Michael; sister named Annie) and his grandfather was Patrick Fitzpatrick (b. 1856 > d. 2 Mar 1928). Do you know if your grandfather, Thomas was related to Patrick? Patrick's wife was Margaret but I don't know her maiden name.
Also, I have two notices from Bay Roberts Guardian: Died October 13th, 1929 - JOHN FITZPATRICK, aged 85 years. Leaving to mourn four sons, Thomas, Patrick, James and Augustus, all of this town, two daughters, Mrs. Alice Delaney, of N.Y., and Mrs. Gerald Murphy, residing at St. John's. Funeral October 15th to the R.C. Church. (Excerpt from Bay Robert's Guardian dated Friday, Oct 18, 1929)
Died January 3rd, 1930 - THOMAS FITZPATRICK, eldest son of the late Thomas and Catherine Fitzpatrick, aged 62 years. Leaving three sons and three daughters to mourn their loss. Funeral on January 5th. (Friday, Jan 3, 1930)
Not sure if there's any connection.

Hi there, my family records indictae that a John Fitzpatrick b. ~1821 married Elizabeth Pike (b. ~1823) on Aug 20, 1846. I'm assuming that they were both from the Lawn or St Lawrence area. Do you have any info or does this connect with your Pike and Fitzpatricks???
My mother is a Fitzpatrick from Lord's Cove.

Mr.Lambert, I may have some info on the Pike family that could help you. My father was Archibald Pike, son of Levi, son of James. I am a 1st cousin of Levi Charles Pike.On my father side I am looking for info on the Bradley family from Burin, and on my mother side the Haskell from Lamaline. (FYI Neil Lambert, son of Henry was a childhood friend of mine).

I am looking for more information about the Fitzpatrick family in regards to Thomas and Catherine Fleming. Any information about where they came from? Parents? Descendants?

I am related to Letitia PIKE, b. 1812, and her husband David FITZPATRICK, b. 1810, of St. Lawrence. They are my direct ancestors through their daughter Susan FITZPATRICK. If this is the line you are looking for, I may be able to help.
