Hi Schneiders. I'm trying to find my g, grandparents, Dora born abt. 1876 and Max born abt. 1867 and settled in Brooklyn by 1920. Had six sons...Samuel,Irving,Jacob, Nathan, Solomon my grandfather, and Leo. Do these names sound familiar?

I am also looking for a Max Schneider,from Austria-Hungary. they came to Brooklyn, NY. My Grandmother was Fanny Schneider Schwartz. She married her first cousin Henry Schwartz. Ring any Bells?

The names you mentioned-Fanny and Henry- don't
sound familiar.However,I know very little about this side of the family. What is interesting is that you have a Schwartz in your family. My grandfather Solomon Schneider
married my grandmother, Esther Schwartz. How is Max connected to your Schneiders?

Thanks for responding, Anne. What I think we have is a lot of coincidences in names. However, I don't think there is a connection since in my family, Max Schneider was Esther Schwartz Schneider's father-in-law.Esther was my grandmother. We also have a Leo, Irving and Solomon in common, but they are brothers on the Schneider side, not Schwartz like yours.
The names I'm researching are SCHNEIDER,SCHWARTZ,MEYER,BLITZER/PLATZERMAN,KARPET,HABERMAN. Much luck in your research. Shari
