Ohio Haecker--pulling hair out!!
I am looking for relatives of Ohio Haecker's. I believe my great grandfather had a brother by the name of Adolph/Adolf. I think he may have ended up in TX at some point, but not sure...
My great grandparents were Gustav Haecker and Barbara Saccha.
please contact me if you have any clues...

Re: Ohio Haecker--pulling hair out!!
Hi Kristen, I used to date a girl named Elaine Haecker in Zanesville OH. She had a grandfather there, and the name Adolf sounds familiar, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, Elaine and her family moved to Seguin TX around 1978 or 1979. The grandfather may have followed later, but I joined the Navy and moved away so I don't know. Hope this helps John Schaefer

Kristin: Were Gustav and his brother born in Germany or in the United States? Do you have an approximate year of their birth?

Re: Ohio Haecker--pulling hair out!!
My great grandfather was born in 1889 in MI.
This thread is almost a year old, I ended up finding them later on.
Thanks,
Kirsten

Re: Ohio Haecker--pulling hair out!!
Adolph Haecker was married to Kate J. Weis, daughter of John Weis and wife Victoria Hallwachs of Sandusky,Erie County, Ohio. I was going to Sandusky next week to the court house to look for marriage records of this particular family. My great-great grandmother and Victoria Weis were sisters.
Checked Adolph's death certificate stated his parents were William Haecker and Barbara Schmidt.

I did find a item related to your family from the Sandusky Star Journal, Tuesday Oct. 28, 1919:
Among the out of town relatives who were here to attend the funeral of Christ Haecker, were Miss Mildred Haecker, Mrs. Isaac Haecker, Mr. and Mrs. John Haecker and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brown of Circleville, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Haecker and Miss Wanda Haecker of Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Haecker and Adolph Haecker of Cleveland
