I offer myself to questions regarding Paraguay. I can't promise more than I know personally and a few local calls, phone directoy, etc... but in many cases it will help.

Jacqueline, It seems I found something...
I search by the civil registers and found only one Boggs (over 18 years old) Her name is Zully Beatriz Boggs. By the ID Card number, it appears to have maybe 30 years, but this is only a supposition...
I asked by the name and ID Card to a local credit info service and they gave me the physical address. The problem is that is a little town near Asuncion. She has no phone. I call a client that lives in this town and ask for the address. He knows where it is and he will go this week end to try to found her (we dont know if she lives still there...) I ll try to see her and ask about their parents, etc... I cant promise you... but you are lucky to search a so distinctive name, Im pretty sure... Ill keep you informed. Best Regards,
Martin

McNamara family in Paraquay?

Dear Martin,
I am looking for any information on my father's uncle and aunt named McNamara who migrated to Paraquay in the 1890s from Australia as part of a utopian socialist movement. Family stories hold that the older generation returned to Australia, but four of my father's cousins who were born in Paraquay remained. Last contact was in the 1930s. Psotcards were sent from the Caapucay region.
I realise the family might have moved on, but any information you can find would be appreciated. (I can read simple Spanish if that's any help).

Yours faithfully
Annette Perry-Smith
