I am looking for descendants of Mathew Rivers and Mary Prince Rivers. Most of the surnames found above migrated from Howard County Arkansas to Turkey Texas. They are primarily the descendants of John Harvey Rivers, Richard James Rivers, and Lora Rivers Eudy.

I believe this was one of my relatives. I believe he was my
GGGParent. My GGrandmother was Leona Rivers.
She is buried in AR, and died 5.10.1907. She was married
twice and Pitzer was my GGrandfather. We believe she was
Cherokee and can't find much out about her. Her grave is
unmarked in Des Arc, AR.She was to have overdosed on
Laudin? She had 2 children in the first marriage that was

My Grandmother was Nancy Ann Gilbert, her Mother was Louisa Jane Eudy, and her Mother was Lora Ann Lacena Rivers.

I was doing research at the courthouse Friday,March 31st, and in the death registery I was going through for the period that covered 1918 and 1919 I noticed that in Jan or Feb of 1919 a M.M. Eudy lost four children in the period of about ten days. This was the time of the Influeza outbreak that took so many. This might have been one of your Eudy's.

Thanks, I would like to know that information. I see in my database that Michael Matthew Eudy had 13 children and that three (Clifton, Flossy, Jessie) died at that time. It appears that I am missing one.

I would also be interested in that information. I have only 3 listed as dying in 1918.

and Jessie Lee (a girl) age 2

All show M.M. Eudy as father.
First two show mothers name as Nancy Lotta
Second two show Mothers name as Nancy Lacy
All died of lung congestion and all had same doctor in attendance.
An interesting item here is that they were all buried by the Turkey Hdw. Co.

Can you help me clear up some memories? My grandfather, MM Richardson had a grocery store in Turkey until he was almost 91 years. He had a nephew named John Richardson. Here is where my memory is foggy. There was a Joe Richardson. I think Joe may have been the son of John. There was an Ethel Eudy and I think she was the daughter of John but married and Eudy. Can you help me?
