Hi> I'm looking for anything to add information to my files on my family roots. My great grandparents Philip Heidt and George Reiter were among the 34 settlers to first arrive in Tramping Lake, Sask. Apparently they moved on to Scott.... Any thing would be great. Angie.

I am researching family information on all of the names mentioned in the surname list. My family (jochim/feist) pioneered in the Tramping Lake area for years (1899 - 1990). My many ancestors are buried in St. Joseph's Cemetary. I have much information to share but also have many gaps in the family tree. Anyone wishing to contact me is very welcome.

My late husband was a grandson of PHILIP HEIDT and KATHERINE. I have only information on his father, BALTHAZAR's family.

They lived first with his parents on a farm east of Tramping lake in the eary 1930s .Then they moved on their own farm east of Tramping lake until they bought a home in Tramping Lake in the 1950s. I'm just updating my email for anyone that would like to share information. I find it very frustrating when the emails bounce back after you've spend many hours researching to finally getting that "match". I'm trying to get through all my previous postings to be sure it's updated.

Looking for Lars Gustive Jochim born in Sweden. Came from Sweden about 1886 and lived in the Michigan and Minn. areas His first wife may or may not arrived in the US but the children did. Census in the 1900s show there were quite a few Jochim's living in Michigan and Minn, yet some may or may not be related. I am trying to find out what happened to the first wife what ship they traveled on, and where did they arrive in the US. At 1888 he lived in Ishpaming Mich. with the second wife.

Apologies for the late reply. I do not have the Jochim your inquired about in my files. My ancestors where never in Sweden. Good luck in your search.
