Found the entry for Polly Raiborne. She was my great great grandmother. She was the second wife of Jacob Whitworth, and they lived in Amelia Co. Va. They had 3 children that I know of--Eliza or Elizabeth P., mar. Turner C. Holt, Thomas Edward, and William Jefferson, my great grandfather. I have the date of Polly and Jacob's marriage as 3/18/1816. I am most interested in finding out something about Jacob, because the line is a little fuzzy before him. If anyone knows where the Raibornes lived that would be of interest. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mildred Thompson Raiborne, at least the entry I just found said so. But with no location given I could be on the wrong track.

I think we're talking about two different families. I wondered about those being her parents, and the dates confirm they weren't. I also doubt if my Polly had anything to do with anyone out of the state of Virginia. My whole family seemed to have been pretty embedded in the central Virginia area.
