I have a Marguerite Debus in my line, b 1818
in Germany. She marr Mathias Oster (1818) &
lived in Buffalo, NY. They had 6 children:
Catharine (1842), Mathias (1849), Christine
(1852), Andrew (1854), Philip (1855), &
Fredrick (1858).

My Great Grandmother, Annie Davis (Debus)
brought to the States late 1884 to early 1885 by her mother,name unknown, from Germany. Left with Uncle Conrad Debus in the state of New York.Annie was 4 years old. I would appreciate any information anyone might have on them. You can e-mail me at.....Owdicat@socket.net

I have a Debus as being born in Holland in 1823. It's a long shot but borders in Europe moved about throughout history. Check it out.

Hi I have a Edward Conrad Debus & Elizabeth Brenner who have a daughter Annie [or what thought to be] who's birth year is 1877 I don't know if this is who you are looking for but they are here in Zurich Ontario Canada.

My grandma Annie was taken from Conrad Debus and his wife Elizabeth on April 4th 1885 in New York and was put up for adoption. She ended up here in Missouri. The records say she was German. If you think they could be the same Let me know and I will give you the info we have been able to find.
