Looking for descendents of Dennis Avrett and his wife Mary who were in the 1910 Hopkins Co., TX Census. Dennis was b. abt 1854 in AL and was a son of Matthew Averett, Jr., and Sarah Louise McClendon. Dennis moved to TX from LA. His parents, Matthew Averett, Jr. and Sarah Louise McClendon moved to LA from AL.

In the 1910 Census, Dennis had a son Robert, 35, b.LA; a daughter Myrtle 20, b. TX and a daughter Olive 17 b. TX. Any information will be appreciated.

I'm curious about Matt & Sarah Averett's niece Mary Louisa McClendon. She was living with them in LA 1870 & 1880 census. Believe she is my g-grandmother who married in Hopkins Co., Texas.
