HUFF: Jefferson HUFF and his son Thomas Jefferson HUFF appear in the 1870 census in Beowawe (then Lander Co.). Using LDS sources, I found that Jefferson HUFF married Mary Jane (RICHARDSON) MERCER, a widow with several children in 1871. They had a child, Homer HUFF, b 1872 in Eureka, Eureka Co., NV. I would like to communicate with anyone else working on these families.

Mary Jane Richardson was married first to Page Mercer and I she never married again after Jefferson Huff died. She was Mary J. Huff, widow, in the 1900 census in Batesville, Tooele county, UT. She is buried beside Jefferson Huff as Mary Jane Huff in the Tooele City Cemetery.
