Does anyone know who founded the town of Burley?
Was Bernard FARR among the first settlers there?

My husband's ancestors were from the Burley, Oakley & Cottonwood areas. Their names were Rivers, Rose & Poulton circa 1882. His mother was born in Burley 1907.

From what I could find out it was four men who helped found Burley. They were Josiah E. Miller, William T. Jack, W. L. Burton and S. H. Hayes. It was originally named Commerce but later changed to Burley in honor of a passenger agent for the Oregon Short Line Railroad named David E. Burley.
I couldn't find anything on Bernard Farr
