Looking for information on Thomas (Howard) Worley Born May 13, 1862. Married Sarah (Emmaline)(Jones) lived at Greenwood,Ky. Both buried in front of Geenwood Baptist Church.(No tombstones).Father & Mother Andrew J. Worley & Lucinda (Holder)Worley

I think that R C stands for Richard Calvin. He is burried in the Marsh Creek Cemetery in Strunk Kentucky, so is Ellen Meadows (I think). Hurstle Meadows was once married to Sally Elva Ellison and two daughters came out of this marriage. Hobert is Hurstle's brother, I don't know about any more of the family. Hurstle is my grandfather and I only saw him a feew times and I would really appreciate any information that anyone has. My mother never grew up around her father so there is a lot about the family that we don't know. I do know that hurstle later married Imagene King and they had several children. 3 I know of is Catherine, Donna, and Edward. I know that Imogene had kids from a previous marriage but I don't know how many and how many she had with Hurstle. To the best of my knowledge, Hobert was only married to a lady named Allie and they had one daughter named Pam.

If anyone has any information it would really mean a lot to me to find out about my Family Roots.

Hi Joy got you message from Wayne Co. Querries. I don't have to much on the Meadows side. I have the Births & Deaths of Richard C. & Ellen (Lay) Meadors. Also their parents names. I will see if I have any information on Hurstle. Richard's daughter Gertrude married William Marion Lay. Whose son Hobart L. Lay married Virginia L. Murphy who had son Barry M. Lay who I married. We have a son Shaun William who we named William after Barry's grandfather & mine. If you need any more information email me I will see what I can find. Faye

My grandfather, Elisha Worley, b. circa 1887, m. Dovie Clark circa 1906 and had their first chld, my father, G.C.Worley (Known as Gart) 07/10/1907, all from Ritner, Ky. Dovie then married Oz Neal and had Dorothy circa 1917, and twins, Dester and Chester Neal,12/25/21. There are no records of Dad's birth or death (Oct.1977). I understand there are two sets of Worleys; one comes from Germany. Since I can't find any descendants of Elisha Worley, should I assume I'm from the Worley's from Germany? Wanda (Worley) Jordan

HE LATER MARRIED IRENE KING MEADORS (MY MOTHER). THEY WERE MARRIED UNTIL HIS DEATH (I AM NOT SURE OF THE YEAR). HOPE THIS CAN BE OF SOME HELP.

I just bought my computer in Feburary and I have gotten back to my Great-Great-Great grandpa Jeremiah Meadors. I have been so excited to learn about all my family's past. Do you know Hurstle & Elva's daughter Ellen? If you do, I am her daughter (the baby girl). I have 3 sisters and 1 brother (the baby).

Hi Fay, I attended the Worley reunion this summer in Monticello, Wayne Co. Park. I found a list of people descended from Howard's brother, JOHN CEPHUS Worley. Richard Cas Meadors was my Great Grandfather. My Grandfather was Milford Meadors, buried in Pine Knot KY and My Father was Harry Filmore Meadors. Milford was one of the oldest in the family. I didn't know much until recently about Richard or Great Grandmother Lay.

It is Meadors. Imogene is my grandmother. She had two children from a previous relationship (Danny King and my father Jesse King). With Hurstle, she had, Donna, Michael, Edward, Katherine, and Marshall. I am also in search of my family roots. I hope this helps you.
