I am just wondering if a request for a death certificate requires and exact date. I have a birthdate (Zacatecas) and a death place (Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes). Can someone let me know if it's possible to make a request with an estimated year of death? Thanks.

Michelle, if death occurred in Texas, dates or social security numbers needed. I don't know about Mexico. But there is a website: Family Search.org that is very helpful, full of information for other countries.
