I just found Emily Mary in the Kadina Cemetery but her last name is listed as PENGILLY. She died in 1926.

I don't think this is my John Pengelly as this one died in 1934 where mine was already dead in 1915, when his son (John Young Pengelly) was killed in the action in Gallipoli on 1st August 1915. Emilie Mary Pengelly of Meningie, South Australia was listed as his next of kin.

I have just noticed one son of John and Emilie nee Young was named Arthur "KNIGHT" PENGELLEY 25/5/1892, so KNIGHT was a family name! The maiden name of John's mother? The older brother was John "Young" PENGELLEY - Emilie's maiden name.
