I just learned from the 1930 Census Report that my paternal grandfather (and his parents) were from Costa Rica. I cannot locate any other information about the family. I would be much obliged if anyone knows how I might research this further.

How about the names of the persons?

Here are all the details I know:

My paternal grandfather's name is "Theodore Eugene Hady"*.
He was born about 1878** and died February 14, 1947.
About 1915, he married "Sophie Hungerbuhler" (who immigrated from Switzerland).
They had one child (my father), "Theodore Eugene Hady, Jr."

*Conflicting name: His WWI Draft Registration is signed "Eugene Teddy Hady".
**Conflicting birth year: The 1930 Census shows lists it as 1878. His WWI Draft Registration lists 1873. A family photo of his headstone shows 1874.

Family in Switzerland had performed a cursory search through church records in Switzerland, but they found nothing. My search came to a dead end with the documents listed above.
