1910 Van Wert Co., OH census has James Robert Kirkland (67), his wife Sarah Ann (Hancock) Kirkland (67), and their daughter Pattie Kirkland (22). All were born in OH. James Robert Kirkland died before 2 Aug 1920 as his wife filed for a Union Widow's Pension on that date. James had filed for an invalid pension 3 Jun 1889. He was born abt 1842 in Crawford Co., OH to Robert and Roxavannah C. Briggs Parcher Kirkland. He married Sarah Ann Hancock 14 Dec 1862 in Crawford Co., OH; the daughter of George & Elizabeth Eymann. Are there other children of James & Sarah Kirkland? Where is the burial place? Any information on this family would be appraciated. James Kirkland's mother, Roxavannah C. Briggs Parcher (widow of Simeon Beal Parcher) Kirkland was my 5th great grandmother.
