I'm trying to research my ancestor who ran the Ringmore Inn in Shaldon in the 1930s after he had retired from the police force.
Does anyone have any ideas about how I can find out more information? I don't really want to have to wait until the census returns are released and assume there must be some sort of record for publicans but have no idea where to look.
Any help/guidance would be much appreciated, many thanks.
