That sounds like the right one. His parents were
James Edgell and Mary Ice--correct? Mary Ice
was the daughter of Indian Billy Ice as I recall
. I'm particularly interested in Elias' wife

my great-grandmother.

I have a Rebecca Edgell who's parents were James Edgell Sr and Mary Ice. so this would make your Elias and Rebecca siblings. Her birthday was 10/9/1795 and she died 11/12/1888. My info I have gotten through research on my own and from distant cousins I have meet on line.

i have rebecca edgell who married samuel starkey, their daughter was rebecca catherine who married thomas maxwell, who is my husband's ggggrandfather. i am researching several lines, and this is one of them. i know that james father was named benjamin, but that's about all i have on this line. i do have more info on rebecca and the maxwell line that she married into the 1600s. i'd appreciate any info you can give me and would provide any info i have. i also have some information on the starkey line. thanks.
