My grandfather was John LOWE & he married Willie Mae RENEW around 1919 in Liberty Co. the relocated in Geneva, AL. I have not been able to find any information on the LOWE or RENEW family. I have no living relatives. My father Harvey M. Lowe was born in Geneva, AL,the family moved back to the Hosford/Telgoia area after John's death in an auto accident around Christmas 1930. Other children were: Gladys, Myrtie Lee, Rena Mae, Leon and Doris. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated.

I,m in about the same boat. Even though I do have some living relatives, I am not have not communicated with any of them for years. However, I have limited information on both living and deceased Lowes in the TN @ AL areas.

My mothers name was Mary (Lenora) Lowe. My grandmother was Genie Bell Lowe, married to William Tarlton Lowe.

Maybe you could search some census records in and around Quitman, Georgia to get a lead. The Ranews moved from Quitman, GA., to Florida panhandle in the early 1900's. One of the Ranew sisters married a Duckworth, the other married a Strickland
