I am looking for information on the ancestors of Andrew Kauffman, m. Elizabeth Kneissle, d. 1759. He may have come from Steffisburg, Switzerland as a mennonite refugee. He traveled through Friesenheim, in Oberamt of Neustadt, Palatinate in 1716. He arrived in Philadelphia in Sept of 1717 and located on 200 arces of land in Lancaster, PA.
Son, Andrew Jr. d. 1763. m. Magdalena Martin.
