I am researching the Peter Watson family of Bradley and Calhoun Co Ark. He married Elizabeth Brothers in St Clair Co Ala on 15 Nov 1843. Is Wimberly Watson related to Peter Watson? I think that Wimberly married in St Clair Co Alabama also. BUT the name is listed as follows:

The Watsons, Brothers, and Wagnons all came from StClair Co Alabama around 1850.

My great grandmother was Hannah Roseanna Evans b. July 26, 1841 in Alabama, d. June 24, 1912 in Bradley County. She married Benjanim Wesley Hudson on March 12, 1866. She was his fourth wife. His third was her sister, Mary A. Evans b. February 07, 1838 in Alabam and d. Abt. 1865. They were married on December 31, 1857.

My gg grandmother was Martha Ann Langston b. Abt. 1847 and d. November 1907 in Bradley County. She married William Thomas Clements in January 1866 in Bradley County.

Anything to suggest that our Evans and Langstons connect?

Hi, Richard, Good to get your query. I can't answer your questions right this minute, but I strongly suspect that the Langstons connect. There is a Don Thompson in Oklahoma that would know more (I can't put my hands on the Langston book now, but when I do I'll let you know). I have not been able to find out anything about my EVANS except that he came from AL, don't know what county, but was in Calhoun Co. in the 1850s and in Saline Co. before that. He was born in 1817, named Yearly (pronounced Early) Evans. We're still searching and if I find something, I'll let you know. Are you subscribed to the ARBRADLE-L@rootsweb.com? Sorry, buy in my research of my Carraway ancestors, I have not come across any mention of Senator Thaddeus Carraway. I am confident that, were he closely related, that would have been noted and recorded by the family.

My ggg grandfather was JAMES MATTHEW (JAMES M.)WATSON. He was born in Alabama and married ANNIE BROTHERS, also from Alabama. By 1870, he, Annie, and five children were living in Calhoun County, AR. Are James M. and Peter related? Are Elizabeth and Annie related? Any info you have would really be appreciated.
