I am looking for information regarding my grandmother Rosalia Hoza who was born in Diveny Hungary. She came to America and married in 1908. Her father was Joseph, her mother was Aida Turcsanyl. Thank you.

The town of Diveny was in the old Nograd megye and now it is Divin, Slovak Republic.

The town of Divin's phone book is listing a surname TURC'ANI (Turcsany/ Turcsani). Even your surname KARABINOS' lists in Slovak Republic.

Located a Rozalia KOZA passing thru Ellis Island in 1907 from Diveny. Is it possible that some sort of transcribing error was made in the surname? The town of Divin is listing Koza and not Hoza.
