thank you for the response. my grandmother was born in osli in 1884. her parents were lazlo varga and borbala meszaros. grandmother was agnes varga.. she had siblings rose, katalin, valerie, v ilma, peter, paul and william. some of the family emigrated to usa but some stayed in hungary. borbala meszaros varga married a peter toth in 1927. she was 92!. we think she returned to hungary from usa but are not sure.

Do you know if your family emigrated to South America late nineteenth century? My grandmother's name was Agnes Varga. Her father was Peter Varga Pecler, married to Julia Füllöp in Hungary.

interesting. My grandmother, Agnes Varga, came to USA in 1902. Her mother's name is Julia Mezaros (?)and she married a Peter Toth when she was 90 years old. Have no record of marriage or death. Thought she had returned to Hungary....family does not know.
