Thomas Cooper 81 (b 1818?) died 8/11, children John, Peter of CA, Perry of Ladoga, IN, Mrs. Thos Smith of State Line, Miss Della of Indianola, and Wm of Georgetown

Noted the above Obit., I'm a descendant of Thomas Cooper's brother
Jacob Job Cooper (1820-1904) who also lived in Vermilion Co., IL
Their parents were Robert Cooper and Elizabeth Job of Frederick Co.,VA.
I also have the family traced back a few more generations in VA.

Since information is sketchy, at best, regarding genealogy from "way back when", I'm unsure but perhaps Jacob Job Cooper is the brother of my possible 3rd great grandmother, Mary Ann Cooper (b. 1816 d. 1862), married Larnerd Salmon Case and is buried in Des Moines, Iowa.
