My wife's grandfather was William Morris of Union Star who died in 1947. His mother was Rebecca Sale Davis Morris. She first married Joel Davis and had 2 daughters, Mrs. Bosworth and Mrs. Hartman. She then married Aaron Morris and had numerous children. Evidently, Joel Davis and Aaron Morris died in Michigan and she came to the Union Star area.

Does anyone know if any of her family besides the 2 daughters and William Morris came to Union Star?

The Bert Peacock family lived for many years in the Bosworth home, south of the Union Star business district.

Any information on the Morris families would be appreciated.

I don't have additional information about the Davis family as I am new to researching but William Morris was my husband's great-grandfather and I wanted to offer that I have photographs of him and of Allie and the children and also of Allie's parents. Maybe you have them already. Thank you so much for the post - it explained the photos with the Bosworth house in the background.

My wife has pictures of the Morris families also, but she may not have the pictures that you have. I have done quite a bit of research on the Morris and related families and would be glad to share with you and your husband.
