Mary Brower

I ownder if the Browers you refer to are tied in to my wife's Brower ancestors. Her ancestor Mary Brower appears to have been born about 17776 in either New York or northern New Jersey. Her father may well have been Jeremiah Brower who according to family tradition died before his daughter was born. Another source indicates that her father mentioned his unborn child in his will. I have found reference to a Jeremiah Brower who died in 1776 in either New York or Hackensack, NJ ((this was in the Mercury- Gazette). Mary married Solomon Jackson and they lived in Long Island. Can you shed any light on the ancestors of this Mary Brower. Thanks

Brower Hackensack

Your mention of Hackensack caought my eye. I have a Mary Elizabeth Brower who m. Isaac Smith; their daughter Lille Mae (my grandmother, b. 1866) married and lived in Hacksnsack. Is there a connection?
