Hi There,
Have found a couple by the name of Graham: Nigel John & Jessie Laura in the 1930 Australian Electoral Rolls 1901-1936. They were registered as living in Styx, St Lawrence, Capricornia, QLD.
Nigel was a coalminer Jessie did Home Duties.
Are these your Grahams?

I have also found in the 1936 Australian Electoral Roll:
James Graham: Styx River, St Lawrence, Capricornia, QLD: Coal Minor Jessie Laura Graham: Styx, St Lawrence, Capricornia, QLD John Graham: Styx, St Lawrence, Capricornia, QLD
These could be mother (Jessie) Son (James) Son (John)
So if that is the case....maybe Nigel John Graham died between 1930-1936 in the Styx, St Lawrence region.
Maybe someone might be able to search buriel records for that time and area.

I think I am the grandson of Nigel John Graham. My father was John Graham, who was a miner at Ogmore. We moved our house in Ogmore to Wynnum when the mine closed.

Re: Graham's in Rockhampton Queensland
I don't think it is the same Nigel John Graham as I think it is my Grandfather as my mother was Jessie Graham and she was his daughter.

Re: Graham's in Rockhampton Queensland
Oh, I thought it might be the same family, as I have a book on the anniversary of Ogmore School. John, James and Jessie are listed as students in 1924. Nigel Graham, their father, was on the school board.
Ogmore is north of Rockhampton, on the Styx River.
John was born in Bolton, Lancashire in 1911.
Nigel, Laura and their children, John, James and Jessie migrated to Australia in 1923.
My parents are John Graham and Mary Veronica Gleeson. My father worked in the mine at Ogmore until it closed around 1948.
