Seeking any info on the family of W.D. (believe to be Wynbert D.) and Gertrude R. (maiden believed to be Vaughn) family that appear on the 1880 census. Children: Burten L. b. at. 1872, Morgan A. b. abt. 1873, Harvey G. b. abt. 1875, Blanche M. b. abt. 1876, Albert C. (actually Albert D.) b. abt. 1878 and Orman D. b. Aug 1880. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. Have info from Albert D. on down. Any info appreciated, thanks in advance.

Burt Oliver, his wife and one of his daughters is listed in the obituary index at

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pamckean/Obituaries/Bradfo...

He is in Bradford, McKean, PA as Burt Oliver in 1910 and 1920 with his wife Maude, daughters Leona & Chloey and his in-laws, John and Chloey Gool according to Federal censuses.

Thank you for the info, however I am not sure it's the correct Burt Oliver. There is also a Charles and Rose Oliver on the 1880 McKean Co. census with a son named Burt. Both Charles and Rose are born in NY and on the 1910 and 1920 census, Burt says his parents were both born in NY. The Burt I am looking for, his parents were born in Pa. This particular Oliver family (W.D. and Gertrude) have just disappeared into thin air, except for Albert. Do you have access to the obits that you mentioned in your post? I suppose that would give the names of Burt's parents (the Burt in the Degolier or Degolia Cem).

I called McKean Co. (I suppose it was the library) and a very nice lady actually looked the obit up for me and I'm still not sure it's the Burt/Bert I'm looking for. I was hoping the obit would say something about his parents or siblings but it didn't. Thanks for the info, I guess I'm back to the beginning on this elusive Oliver family.
