Seeking any info on family of Christina Jane Dillon (nee Armour). She died in Cranbrook in 1970 aged 99 years. Her and husband John had the "Dillon Ranch" in the Bull River/ Fort Steele area. They had 3 children:
-Ernest Harold Dillon, died 1972 in Kimberley.
-William (aka Pete) Pearson Dillon, died 1975 in
Kimberley. He married Constance Elizabeth White in
1929 in Fernie. They were possibly divorced. His
death cert. states he was single
-Stella Fern Dillon, adopted. Child of Christina's
sister (birth name Howard). Stella's first husband
was Olaf Jahren (divorced). Second husband was
? Olson. She signed William Pearson Dillon's death
cert. in 1975 as "F. Olson, sister"

William Pearson Dillon, b 12 Aug 1898 Kemptville Ont, living Douglas Manitoba, farm laborer, next ofkin: father, John Dillon of Douglas Manitoba.
He was 5'5", fair complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair, birth mark right side of neck.

There is also another William Pearson Dillon on the site. He was born Ottawa on 6 Apr 1879 and is a physcian. Likely a relative as the names are the same.

Ernest Harold Dillon was also in WW1, section foreman, next of kin: Christina Dillon of Douglas Manitoba.
He is entered as Ernest Farrell but on the enlistment form it definately says Ernest Harold. Someone slipped up. I have sent in a correction.

Thank you for the info and links, I had some of them, but not all. Not sure if Stella had children, with either husband, Jahren or Olsen. Could only find Jahren marriage, Olsen marriage must have happened after the cut off of the BC vital stats site. Jean
