Well thats isp's for you
Here is my email to you that your isp didn't let you get
Hi
Just found your reply to my query I didn't get a reply email for your reply to my query for some reason.
What info was I hoping to find from the obits?
Really more info to search for. Obits hold a lot of info most times and its that info that I am looking for to see if I can find more out from it.
Besides its proof of relationships that is paper proof. I was taught to try to get paper proof of info if possible so thats what I try to do get the paper proof.
However I don't don't know where to go to get this info for this family line in Ok. Some of this line went to
Texas where I live but I didn't know this before I started tracing this particular line of my
Campbells from
PennsylvaniaI found George's sister who stayed in
Penn and was able to prove her out from her obit that I had the right person. It mentioned her brother in Ok but not his name. He was the only sibling alive when she died in the obit. No one knew what happen to her or what
Neyman she married. I found that out working 1 day with what I knew about her from other info. All I had on her was her married name and yr of birth and her married name in her fathers will. + the name of her father in law that witnessed the will. She wasn't in any census that had her husband living with her just her and son down as married. Ancestry.com was a big help with finding info on her as they had the newspaper that had her obit in. She went by either Nancy J in will or Agnes J on census's or on her obit as Jennie. I guess she really didn't like her first name or something.... but its her with all her first name aright.
Anyways the paper proof is why I wanted the obits.... paper proof most times either proves or disapproves the relationships
Thanks for reading my post appreciates it
