Grandaunt Evelyn ended her life on March 7, 1918, a couple of months before her 16th birthday. Her death certificate states that there was a coroner's inquest.

I would like to obtain a copy of the inquest file as well as a copy of any newspaper article(s) regarding Aunt Evelyn. How do I go about getting those items?

I am unrelated. I have never been in your situation, but I believe the way to obtain a coroner's report would be to contact the county coroner's office (I suggest you call them) and inquire as to the process.
