These Sain's are descended from Philip Sain b. 1730 in Germany. died 1799 in Frederick Co., Maryland.
He had two son's Phillip and Peter Sain who moved from Frederick Co., Maryland to Fairfield County Ohio. Philip about 1802 and Peter Sain by 1806. Peter in 1796 is in Frederick Town, Frederick, Mayland and 1800 in Liberty Township, Frederick Co, Maryland. Philip Sain Jr and his wife Barbara are members of the Methodist Church. All the Sain's in Fairfield Co., Perry Co., and Hocking Co.,Ohio 1800-1860 are descended from these two men.
