Hi Stella,
I did find a newspaper article about John Herbert
Robinson sudden death at his home in Newcastle Monday morning. It was in the
Drumheller Review dated Thursday Nov. 3, 1932. States his age as 47, a fire boss at the Western Gem
Coal Mine. A Dr. G.H. Whitmore was called but it was too late. His wife ( Jane, she was called Jenny ) having predeased him. ( Haven't found where she is buried yet). It says the remains were removed to
Humphries Funeral Home and funeral arrangements were pending on the arrival of another daughter. (Isabell) The paper says he was living in
Drumheller about 3 years.
His daughter Elizabeth was staying with him at the time.
