Could sks please tell me if it's possible to trace the death of a British Subject whilst in Ostende?

I know from an obituary notice in a local paper that he died there but do not know how to go about finding out all of the details or obtaining a copy of his death certificate.

He was born in Bradford, Yorkshire in 1864, and was living in Pudsey, Yorkshire at the time of his death.

You can contact – in English - the authorities of the city of Ostend to get a copy of his death certificate (complete date if possible).
For 1929 there could be a problem of privacy; so explane that you are a descendant.
