Hi Gene,
About all I have on G-Grandmother ,Harriet Elizabeth Flick,
Is her name and that she married my G-Grandfather, William Webb.( This is on the Webb side of my family)

I also have a Ches Flick married to Rachel Leonard, her parents were Sam Leonard & Nettie Aten Flick. Rachel was my father's cousin. Nettie was my Grandmother's sister.
( Ches is on the Aten side of my family).

I remember my parents talking about one of Dad's cousins being called " Scoop Flick", but I'm not sure which side of the family he came in on.

If any of this makes any sense to you or connects to your family please e-mail me. I haven't had much luck trying to get this together.
Thanks,
Sharon

Could your Harriet Elizabeth Flick be related to my ggrandfather John J. Flick, b.11 Mar 1861 in Hannibal, MO? His father was Sanford Flick, born in Illinois. I haven't been able to find any more on the Flicks than that. Thanks!

Hi, My Aunt Rachel Flick nee Leonard was married to
"Scoop" Flick & lived in Hannibal, MO. My mother, Marjorie Ruth Vaughan (Dillman) nee Leonard, her sisters, Rachel & Florence lived in Hannibal, MO. Also, they were raised by their grandparents, Marion & Rachel Aten (nee Coleman) in Payson, IL. My cousins still live in Hannibal and/or Quincy IL; these would be on the Flick side. I know that my cousin, Beverly Pierceall, nee Flick, should have some information as one of her sons was doing Geaneology research.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I believe that most of the children you listed for James Davis Foster and Catherine Brasel are acutally Richard James Brasel's children. I have a lot of info on the Brasel's and Foster's if you are interested e-mail me, They are related to my wife.

Hi,

Do you have any Brasel (Brazzill/Brasiel/etc) leaving IL in 1888 as part of a wagon train to TX? My husbands McDaniel line left IL in 1888, and the FLowers and Brassiel families were part of the wagon train. Both those families married into our Stanley/McDaniel/Canada lines in Northern TX/Southern OK.

Ervin/Irving McDaniel, b. 1847 in VA, had most of his kids in IL. Salem and Mt. Vernon, IL are listed as birthplaces from 1870-1881.
