There are 2 Weisflogs in the
German Settlement Cemetery.
the
German Setlement is southwest of
Crookston. The
Crookston Cemetery is up the hill north and I think about a mile east of
Crookston.
There was a Francisco
Stump, whose wife was Eliza J. born Feb 12,1852 died June 7, 1892, buried in
Crookston cemetery. I don't know where Francisco is buried. Francisco was a civil war veteran. According to 1890 census he was a pvt in company c, 104th HE Inf. served from 1863 to July 12 1865, served 1 year, 6 months and 28 days.
Francisco advertised for final proof on homestead HE 6801, NW 1/4 Sec 35, tp 35, R30 west of 6th principal meridian. Address
Crookston, 16 Dec 1892. I believe he lived about 3 miles north of
Crookston.
Don't know where this came from, but written on 1890 census gives Eliza's birth place as
Lancaster county,
Kentucky.
1885
Nebraska census (
Cherry county) lists F. Stump, age 3?, farmer, born
Ohio, and parents born
