Looking for decendents of Benjamin F. (born 1858) or Bertha Mills. They raised my G.Grandmother Anna (born 1899) after her mom passed. I would really like to find any information possible on them. Especially the name of my G.G.Grandmother. I do know that Bertha was Anna's Aunt.

Update: Looking for decendents of Henry(Harry) Mills (b.1837) and Eliza Mills (b.1842). Trying to find info prior to 1860 on them. I found their children and some grands. Need more info on Anderson Mills(b.1864) and Benjamin Mills (b.1859). Anderson had a daughter Lula Cowins also looking for decendents of hers. Found out Anna was Benjamin's niece not Bertha's. Any info would help!

I believe your Anna Mills was Mary A. Mills, listed as daughter, in William E. Mills' household in the 1900 Polk Co, NC census.
Willian died in 1901 and his wife Mary Coward Mills was dead before the 1900 census.
William was a brother of my grandfather Benjamin Franklin Mills

I think we have two different people. My Anna's name was definitely Anna Elizabeth Mills. She raised me. She is African-American. Regarding her brother Grant, I believe that was his middle name, I have to double check that information.

I have stumbled across your family's information over and over again during my research though. It is just so ironic that her mother passed during childbirth (1899) and your William's wife Mary died before the 1900 census. It still makes me wonder if it is somehow still related to my research. Maybe..... Thanks for your help!

I am looking for my great grandmother Alpha(Altha) Mills Moore. She was born in 1844 and is listed in the 1870 census living with Moore and her three daughters, Joanna, Mary Thomas and Leahbell Moore. She died around 1877. Her maiden name was Mills
