My name is Rosalee Stackhouse. My e-mail address
is
rosalee@cbnn.net and I am searching for my husbands family ties. The Stackhouse family was in the Ronan area in the 1800's & early 1900's. Jesse A. Stackhouse was born in Kalispell : August 1, 1891, a white male. He was living in Ronan in1917, where he registered for the World War I draft. He was a blacksmith working for
Ernest Lanquist. Also, he had a wife and 2 children. Children's names : Jesse Allen Stackhouse, born July 16,1915 in Pocatella, Idaho. Stanley I. Stackhouse, born February 20, 1917 in Ronan, Montana. By the 1920 census, he was in Seattle, Washington and he was a widower! Something happened to his wife. At that time, he was staying with his sister, Pearl, who was 6 years younger than he. I have no connections for the family in Montana before 1891. Who were his parents? What was his
wife's name and who was her family? I have it from the census info. that his mother and father were born in Missouri, but I have no names, dates or places to tie them all together. Thank you in advance for anything about them!
