Looking for info on Ella Eugenie BARFIELD born Jan 11, 1873 in Washington County, and Died March 28, 1947 in Washington County Florida. She was married to France Masters Russ.
Her father may had been John BARFIELD, born about 1851.

I see you have a Bush listed . Do you have a Henry Bush that married a Russ? I think they married in 1925 in Washington Co.?

Ruth, i am not sure for i have not had a chance to go to the Archives and look at Census Records, but i would be lead to think it is the same family. the only info i have on John was given to me and i do not know where they got their info from, so it very well could be the same family, not likely is there 2 Johns with a daugher named Ella. Do you know if your Ella married a Russ or not.
I have been told that Ella is in the vernon Cemeetery. I do not know for sure this either, but this part i think really may be true..
Do you know the names of any of your Ella's children?

We have an Ella, b. approx. 1880, sister to my grandfather, Edmund Monroe Barfield, and daughter of John F. Barfield and Margaret Allen, all of Washington CO. John was born 19 JUNE 1840, d. 23 JAN 1907. A handwritten note for him for an uncle says: "GA-Served FLLFG 1800's).

To answer your questions of both families I don't have a Henry Bush in my FTM and I only have the birthdate of Ella Barfield. My info comes from a brother of my father who is in ill health and is in a nursing home.

My Bush info I have just recently learned and I am still in the process of gathering info. My descendancy is from Luticia Bush who was married to John E. Hooten. My grandmother, Georgia Elizabeth Hooten Barfield, was their child.

Ella Eugenia Barfield, born in Washington County, Florida on
January 11, 1873, and married to Francis Masters "Frank" Russ, was the daughter of John Irvin Barfield. John Irvin Barfield was married to a lady with the surname of Mainer at the time. John was born in December, 1850. John was the son of Redin Barfield (b. 1810, North Carolina) and Melinda Carter. Redin was the son of Jesse Barfield (b. about 1770 in Robeson, North Carolina). John... Redin and Melinda Carter Barfield were my gg-grandparents. Their son Jesse Hilton married Susanna Hancock and were my g-grandparents. Their son Earnest Broward married Caroline Scott and they were my grandparents. My dad was David Hilton Barfield.
